We will replace your temporary restoration with a definitive restoration once we have confirmed that your implants have integrated successfully, typically 3-4 months after your ‘teeth in a day’ appointment. This will involve multiple visits and appointments, one of which will be a ‘try-in’ so that you can visualise and approve your new smile. You will be able to request changes to your smile that can allow for your definitive restoration to be different to the temporary teeth if you wish. Don’t worry, in the meantime you will be able to wear your temporary bridge whilst we manufacture your bespoke final prosthesis. You will then be able to keep your temporary bridge or denture as a spare in the event of having to send away your definitive bridge for maintenance in the future.
