We will always take a Cone Beam Computerised Tomography (CBCT) scan when planning for your implant treatment. These scans are essential as they allow us to see your jaw anatomy, including bone levels, location of vital nerves, and any underlying problems you may be unaware of. Once taken, your scan will be shown to you and discussed with you in-depth, explaining how we plan your treatment and discussing any issues we might find. In case of any abnormalities it may be necessary to request a report from a consultant radiographer, which can be arranged for an extra fee.
