Aston Parmar graduated from Leeds University in 2010 and has been working in general practice in South Wales since then. He exclusively performs private dentistry as it affords him the opportunity to pursue the highest possible standard of restorative and prosthetic dentistry with a particular focus on implants. He is passionate about his clinical work and feels privileged to be able to help people whilst working as a dentist.

His training courses span a range of disciplines including implants, full mouth rehabilitations, treatment of tooth wear, advanced dentures, endodontics, orthodontics, facial aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry.

This breadth of experience has put him in a unique position to both successfully plan and carry out complex multidisciplinary cases in a primary care setting from start to finish, but also to develop a new emerging passion of lecturing and mentoring other dentists, dental therapists and nurses.

His training includes short term orthodontic training in 4 different systems in fixed, aligners and removable active appliances; re-endo microscope training with Dr Godfrey Cutts and Professor James Pritchard; facial aesthetics training with Dr Sid Gautam; a year of one-to-one prosthetic mentoring with Specialist Prosthodontist Michael Myint; 1 year accredited implant training with Dr David Guy; residential training in restorative dentistry and smile designs with Dr Maxim Belograd.

Aston now spends the majority of his time in North Cardiff Dental & Implants, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver the type of dentistry that he always aspired to perform.

He lives in Cardiff with his wife, two children and golden-doodle dog Merlin. He has a passion for food, cars, whisky and beekeeping.
